The armoured capsule ROUND made of 6 mm metal with 16 mm stiffening ribs is a new development from Paritet-K for protection against debris and other hazardous conditions. The reinforced 16 mm stiffening ribs are made of high-strength structural steel and provide additional resistance to impact and stress in the event of building collapse. The design is modular, which makes it easier to transport and allows the armoured capsule to be assembled and disassembled even in areas with limited access. This system also allows individual damaged elements to be replaced without dismantling the entire structure.
The armoured capsule has an area of 2.8 m2 and a capacity of up to 6 people.
Anchor holes are provided to secure the capsule to the floor and walls.
The entrance door is equipped with two twist locks, providing quick access to the interior. In case the main entrance is blocked, there is an emergency hatch located on the opposite side of the door.
To maintain air exchange in the capsule, two protected ventilation openings are integrated, which ensure basic air circulation even when hermetically sealed.
Inside, there are two folding benches that can be removed if necessary. For a comfortable stay, it is recommended to additionally equip the capsule with mattresses, blankets, pillows, as well as a fire extinguisher, flashlight, drinking water and carbon monoxide gas masks.
