The fire-resistant safe GRIFFON FRS.57.E BLACK is designed to protect documents, cash, electronic data storage devices, and other valuables in emergency situations, including fires. Its overall dimensions allow convenient storage of A4-size documents, bulky folders, archive binders, seals, backup drives, and other important items.
Fire-resistant safes of the FRS series are certified for fire resistance class LFS 60P in accordance with DSTU EN 15659, guaranteeing the protection of the contents for up to 60 minutes when exposed to high temperatures. A 53 mm thick protective layer combined with a double-wall construction and a double threshold forms an effective barrier against heat. The space between the outer and inner bodies is filled with a special thermal insulation material, while two contours of thermal sealing tape around the door perimeter expand when heated, preventing the penetration of smoke and flames. The safe is equipped with a GRIFFON Q2 electronic combination lock.
The locking system includes three active chrome-plated locking bolts with a diameter of 25 mm, as well as anti-cut bolts on the hinge side. Even if the lock or hinges are damaged, the door remains securely locked, preventing unauthorized access. The design incorporates special “pockets” for the locking bolts and anti-cut bolts, ensuring tight door contact around the entire perimeter and increasing resistance to forced entry.
To prevent unauthorized relocation, the safe is equipped with anchor points for floor mounting. Inside, there is a removable shelf and a lockable internal compartment (tracer), allowing the interior space to be conveniently organized according to the user’s individual needs.
