This indicates that the safe ensures the preservation of paper documents for 120 minutes (2 hours) during a fire at a temperature of about 1000°C. During testing, the product undergoes not only the thermal effect of fire, but also an additional drop test from a height of 9.15 m, which simulates the destruction of building floors during a fire.

The main condition for certification is that the temperature inside the safe should not exceed 170°C, which is a critical threshold for preserving paper media. Thanks to the special fire-resistant filler of the case and door, documents, contracts, financial statements and archives remain intact even in the event of a long fire. Compared to the basic class S 60 P, the model with S 120 P certification provides twice as long protection time.

There are two rows of thermal tape along the perimeter of the door opening, which expand when heated, ensuring tightness and blocking the penetration of smoke and flame inside.
