GRIFFON CL III.68.K.E VAROS is certified in accordance with DSTU EN 1143-1:2019, Grade III burglary resistance, and complies with the LFS 30P fire resistance class (DSTU EN 15659).
The model is designed for the secure storage of cash, documents, valuables, seals, data storage media, and other valuable items. The CL III.68.K.E VAROS fire and burglary resistant safe combines a high level of protection against both burglary and fire, making it an ideal solution for banks, financial institutions, notary offices, commercial premises, industrial facilities, and private residences.
The safe features a multi-layer body construction with a 40 mm reinforced concrete protective barrier, providing effective resistance against forced entry while protecting paper documents in the event of a fire.
The body is equipped with a robust three-way boltwork system featuring seven active chrome-plated locking bolts with a diameter of 25 mm. The bolts rotate during locking, making sawing significantly more difficult. The hinge side is protected by passive anti-cut bolts, while the lock area is reinforced with hardened anti-drill plates to prevent drilling attacks.
The CL III.68.K.E VAROS fire and burglary resistant safe is equipped with two certified locks:
KABA MAUER VAROS Class B (VdS) key-operated safe lock;
M-LOCKS VdS Class 2 electronic combination lock.
The KABA MAUER VAROS mechanical safe lock is a high-security 9-lever Class B (VdS) lock designed for use in Grade III–V burglary resistant safes.
Its key advantage is the ability to re-key the lock without removing the safe door. A new set of keys can be programmed directly from the outside using the operating key, eliminating the need to dismantle the lock. This significantly simplifies maintenance while enhancing operational security.
Key advantages of the lock:
9 asymmetrical levers provide a high level of security;
flat bolt with anti-drill protection;
quick re-keying to a new key set without disassembling the lock;
can be used either as the primary lock or as a blocker for the boltwork mechanism;
supplied with double-bit keys available in lengths from 90 to 180 mm.
The safe can only be opened after the mechanical key lock and the electronic combination lock have been operated in sequence, providing an additional level of protection against unauthorized access.
